How much salt used comes from the Pacific?
As there is a lot of worry about Fukushima, and the possible threats of a contaminated food chain. The concentration of trace pollutants in animals increases the higher up the food chain. So there is a lot of worry about Pacific tuna and radiation contamination.
This is basic logic as a biologist, but what about mineral form?
