It's a mission trip for our church. We really don't want to stay with her because she's an unkind person and we know she won't do work and she'll ruin the trip.

Romans 12:18 says: If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men.
Peaceable people are truly needed in todays world. A peaceable person is full of mercy and not hypocritical. If it's a mission for the church, then you would want to demonstrate the same attitude that God and Christ Jesus have. Maybe by your good example, your showing compassion, can bring about a change of heart in the other person. Always treat people the way you want to be treated. Sometimes, it can make the other person see things differently. If not, you know you did the best you could. Not all people act the way we wish they would. But, the way we respond to them or a situation is what counts. Negative thinking can drain the life out of you. Always look for something positive even in negative situations.
