I have self-esteem issues so when he jokes about it it bothers me because he knows I have issues like that with myself n I try making sure he knows I don't see him as ugly or stupid. I guess what my problem is is that he jokes about it thinking it's funny when he knows I have issues like that with myself. But he doesn't seem to understand.

Well if he knows theses things upset you it would seem like he would not want to do it knowing this but it may seem like he doesn't care about your feelings involving what hes doing to you if he is ignoring your issues with it he might not want to stop or he isn't seeing it the way you see it and that's so wrong of him to treat you like that all you can really do is keep telling him how you don't like it and you wish he would stop.
