I've been taking Norco 10/3.25 for 4 years--currently I'm allowed 120 tabs per month. Due to increased severe pain in neck, back, knees, legs, recent bunionectomy operation, I find myself taking 5 per day. I'm not sure how to approach him with this question. I really don't want to change meds--Norco is agreeable with me.

I would agree bunions are terribly painful. I have one on my right foot. Other than it's not appealing, the pain is just killing. Anyways, I tried taking pain medications, but after a while I realized I should be seeing a chiropractor instead. My regular visits was able to make me understand that I needed the therapy to get away with the pain. I was educated, thanks to my chiropractor. You can, however, ask your doctor what to do to reduce the severe pain. He should understand that.
