I am 11 years old and I only live with my dad and my older brother who is 19. I am a girl. My mom is dead so I can't talk to her. I am at the stage where I need a sports bra but I don't know how to tell my dad. Please help me!

i know how it feels! i got the same problem! you should just pick a right time to talk to him about it and explain to him whats going on!

to be honest there really is no way to make it less awkward if your talking to your dad. Just remember that he will try and help you, and that he does care about you. after you talk to him you will feel a lot better i promise
i think you should try to find an adult whom you trust and tell them your situation. Take your aunt for example. if you tell her she could probably help you find a bra and answer any questions you may have Or you could always just go to your dad. but i think this will be awkward no matter what. you could just casually bring it up in conversation or you can ask him to take you to the store for "girl stuff". the school nurse can also help you if you ask.
i bet your father understand that... if not, he doesnt care about you..
Thanks for the advice! I hope this isn't any trouble but do you have any advice about that? My aunt lives in the same town as I do, she has 3 kids, 1 is a 16 year old girl. How should I talk about this to my aunt?
