I know this may sound crazy, but just ask her out!!! Like as soon as you can. You'll regret not doing it. You only live once.
And trust me, she will say yes. And if she dosn't, whats the worst thing that could happen? her say no and you move on.
Just tell her you have liked her for some time and you want to be able to call her "mine" or something cute like that. make it sound meaningful!

You can tell her if you want that the both of should give it a try, but in a good manner. Your both in the fifth grade right? Your both to young to a very serious relationship. Why give it try as friend first? There's nothing wrong with that, acquiring her trust is the most important factor. And lastly study hard make her your inspiration

I would say give her hints....Because your too young to ask someone out. Wait until 6th or 7th grade. Also, make sure she doesn't like any of your friends or people you know. If she does, it would be awkward. Don't give up man :D.
Your shy. Ok, understood. But that is no excuse for the overwhelming urge to kick yourself in a few months when she is already taken. Go for it. And your in 5th grade. Girls are only this great but easy to get at that age. And the entire class says you two should be together. That gets rid of you getting picked on if she says no. But there is no way that she will say no. Trust me on this. And once you guys break up ( you will eventually), if it's before the start of middle school/Junior high, as then all the other girls will want you.
