I wore my contacts from about 7 in the morning until about 10:40 at night (I know, pretty long). After I took off my contacts, my eyes got red. I thought that it would go away and that my eyes were red because it got dry so I used some eyedrops (Refresh Tears). But the next day, my eyes were still red so I didn't wear my contacts. Is this normal? This is my second day of my second time wearing contacts. I wore contacts before, but I had to stop for a while because they dried my eyes & damaged my membrane. I'm wearing Acuvue Oasys.

I would suggest you stop wearing it for a while then visit your eye doctor or go to www.myvisioncare.ca. Though it can be normal that your eyes become red when removing them, especially when you have them for a long time and your eyes got dry and tried, it would always be best to have a professional advice. Your doctor can tell you how to prevent redness or suggest other options like using another contact lenses.
