Legal Custody of little sister?

...  sisters who is 16 years old. I was wondering what all do we have to do to do this and do we need a lawyer for the process? We stay in Mississippi and have been talking about it we want this to be done as soon as possible.

Well the easy way to look into things would be to get the person who has guardian ship of her to sign off and give you guardian by signing her over to you.Or you can get a attorney to look into the  situation see where it can go she also might try to get emancipated.
