Had my nape pierced about a week ago, I've followed instructions as to keeping it clean etc. The piercing itself doesn't hurt or look infected, I keep getting throbbing pain in the back of my neck, I don't know if it's because I've slept funny or my body is rejecting it. Any suggestions?

it could mbe you slept on your neck wrong this happens alot it acts like a pinched nerve but it really isn't it hurts like that unless you did something else that you can remember doing it probable that its from sleeping in a different postion can you turn your neck at all one way it hurts to do try some icey hot or even asper cream or anything you have on hand tension excedrin might work advil might work or if you have a hot pad it would help also if you don't have one you could use a towel for that purpose
