I am in need of a heart surgery . I was told my the doctor I needed to have it or I won't be able to live for long . The reason for the surgery is not work related . But would I still be able to apply for workers compensation ? If not , is there any other thing I can apply for ? I would not be able to work for atleast 3 months .
