I have an annual exam at the clinic with a female doctor but she also delivers babies at the hospital. I was just wondering would she be a good doctor for a male patient myself.

A female doctor should be just as knowledgeable and just as skilled as a male doctor. Some men may find it easier to discuss certain subjects with a male doctor but, equally, some men may find it easier to discuss the same subjects with a female doctor.
Someone pointed out that female doctors could have a minor advantage in performing digital prostate examinations because they usually have smaller fingers, and it could be less daunting to have a female perform that particular procedure.
