Oh and there's a city event tonight, asked if she was going to it. She said that she would go with her friends their, but then she also asked if i wanted to come. I answered that i had to go with my friends as well. Is she just being nice or?

Sometimes girls and guys are like that but most of the time it is clear its a game where this is concerned you basically already know this. You have said what you would like its something that takes time doesn't happen over night. She wants to get to know you better and you feel the same so its a good thing.
I'm a girl, so I think I can help you out a little bit. If she wants to get to know you better, she probably isn't sure if she life you or not. To me, if I don't really know a guy, I won't be sure how I feel about him. I don't focus on looks, but I focus on personality and what the guy likes. Maybe the girl you're talking about is the same way. Turn on the charm and be yourself. A lot of girls often ask their friends what to do in certain situations. They may read a conversation out loud or ask what they should say. Maybe try to talk to her friends and ask them because more than likely, they'll know. But if you don't feel comfortable talking to her friends, try to observe her. Like, what's her clothing style? Does she wear band t-shirts? Does she like girly things like dresses and heels? Try to notice small things about her that the two of you have in common. It sounds so complicated, but then again, when is love ever simple? I'm sorry if this confuses you, but I hope it helps!
