I'm in 8th grade what is the lowest possible grade average you can get to pass a class in middle school? I live In Duval county and I have a really bad grade in a class i posted my school because people say it depends on what school you go to. Also can an FSA make you pass the grade and can teachers recommend that you pass if your average is too? Right now here are my grades in that class. First quarter 79% Second quarter 55% Third quarter 37% current grade this quarter 91% Average so far 65.5. I didn't know my grade was that low the second quarter i thought it was a 78% and I slacked off and didn't pay attention is there anything I can do? please help i would like to pass

What happened in 2nd and 3rd quarter? Other than that you were doing great! Usually a 50% is a bare minimum pass. But they recommend a 75% as grade level. So for the first and last quarter you were above grade level which is excellent! Good job!! Maybe for the future, look at what you need to improve on and improve! I know you can't get 100% like that but it's all about progression in baby steps. Some tips to do better in school are to:
1. Have the correct supplies
2. Get enough sleep at night, so you can stay focused during the day. For people like you, grade 8/ high school get at least 9-10 hours each night because a fact is teenagers actually need more sleep than kids.
3. Have a good diet, eat foods that keep you energized through out the day, but healthy foods. Not red bull or sugar drinks because you will crash later. Look up some healthy meal ideas and you can find several ideas!
