We're 21 and we've been dating for 3 months. I've been perfectly comfortable with my sexuality since high school, however, I've never dated any guys aside from him. On the other hand, he was completely in the closet before dating me. All of his friends thought he was asexual, because he's a very confident guy, but when girls would hit on him he'd just completely shut down. Upon meeting him, I had a strange suspicion that he wasn't into girls, and after hanging out with him alone several times, I still had to talk him into admitting that he liked me. He is not comfortable with his sexuality at all, and will not show affection in public. He won't even hold my hand. We've discussed the topic of sex before which he's told me he wants to do it with me, but he's just not ready yet. Do you think he's just scared, and I should try to talk him into it? or should I back off and wait for him to come to me...if ever?
