Its in my new lease. the fee is $50.00 if I call them to fix something.It was not in no other lease in the past 8 years. If this is their house and is this legal?

well the thing is if it just started appearing on your rental agreement they just can't add something because they want to it has to be new along the line of starting the first of such a month we will be charging 50.00 dollars for any maintance that you need done to your apartment they have to allow so much time for the residents to know they are going to be charging this fee but it still doesn't make much sense to charge this fee when they haven't done it for 8 years and now they want to do that things are going to be not done cause some can't afford that fee so the apartment or house is going to go unfixed because of this is that 50 dollars per fix how many apts are there or houses i would get a petition going to see how others feel about it mabe would change if enough people protested this and signed accordingly sounds like that money might be going into someones pocket
