Me and my boyfriend are looking to book a summer holiday in September. We just want to go somewhere we can relax for a week. We are both 21 years old but we dont want a lively holiday like Malia or Ibiza etc. but we dont want to be in a cut off place. Ideally a resort near a beach, a water park (dont mind if have to travel a bit to it), bars and restaurants (i like to go for meals), with friendly people but we are also on a budget not too dear but not too expensive. Once I have found a resort that I've heard is good then I can start cocnentrating on finding a cheap hotel etc there. If anyone could give me an idea that would be great. I've been looking around costa del sol and tenerife (as i hear they are popular) but if anyone knows of any great place not really mentioned a lot that would be great.

Turkey, Cyprus and Spain are very reasonable. I've heard very good things about Turkey from the people who've visited. You may want to avoid Marmaris and Antalya as they may be a bit bustling for you and have too much nightlife. Somewhere quieter and with nicer beaches like Bodrum, Hisaronu Bay, or Gemila (which is near Olu Deniz which is very busy, but it means you get the good transport links without having to have the buzz of Olu Deniz all the time, but then again it's always there if you do want something more lively one night).
