My sons father never contacted me once whenmy son came into the world. He does have two other children and he did say to me why would i spend time with your child when i haven't seen my kids. He is is drug addict and is not capable to parent. Just a question that is stuck in my head. Thanks for the reply

This is an awfully basic situation and it's just awfully hard to give any straight answer without insulting lots of people.
Generally speaking men who are drug addicts and who have sex with women who aren't on birth control dont usually have guilt or think about anything except how to score their next high. They also don't worry about child support because they buy drugs first.
Do women who have sex with drug addicts ever worry about getting HIV or the addict passing along damaged chromosomes to the baby to cause mental or physical problems?
