my little sister lives with me and somehow she got me to take in her friend who's parents left her alone. They had been pretty nice(never fighting, always getting homeowrk done, and they never get in trouble) but one night i went to check on them and i went to see my sister first but i saw her friend in the bed with her. they weren't having sex they were just sleeping all cuddled up together. is it ok for me to let them do this?

I had a friend like this since I was 13. She wasn't abandoned, but her dad didn't pay much attention to her. We were best friends and we were very close, probably closer than sisters, but from 13 all the way up until 20 there was never anything sexual about the relationship. We often would sleep over eachothers houses and cuddle like that, but I don't ever remember thinking of her in "that" way, like a lesbian thing or anything like that. I think maybe it's an emotional security thing.
However, personal morals and preferences may have also influenced this outcome. So if you feel that this may be instigating a situation that you have convictions about, then I would say play it safe and let them know you're not comfortable with it.

I'm ok with it a long as they aren't getting sexual bc I have a daughter who sleeps over on the weekends and she loves my sister so she is always crawling in her bed at night when she gets scared and as long as they don't bring any guys in there
I think things will be ok, but monitor it girls all more giving with their feelings, and thank God for that :-)
What do you mean by girls are more willing with their feelings and when I monitor them how do I know they to stop it( I know if they like start kissing or sleeping naked but I mean like little things)
What i meant about girls showing their feeling more freely is that naturally females are more willing to express verbally and openly if they care (friendly) for any one. As far as making sure things don't get out of hand, that's your call, I'm sure you will be able handle any situation that arises.

alright i will try to montior what they do and if they get to close i will tell them to sleep in seperate beds. but i think they are dating behind my back bc yetersday i saw my sister had a hickey and her friend had one that matched and unless they got it at school from some little boy then they gave them to each other
Maybe. --- I had a niece that would do that with her best friend, (they were 14-15) --- Everyone were like OOH they love each other like sisters. We'll it comes to find out it was more than just sisters. I don't think they ever did anything when people were awake...or maybe even at the house, but now there is posts all over their facebooks pages of them making out, wearing undies, and all kinds of stuff...and they talk about "being together" --- SOOO, I dunno. Honestly...it might seem innocent, but sometimes girls that age just....AREN'T. LOL.
I would just monitor the situation, if you could even call it that. As mentioned before morals and preferences could decide the outcome for any situation but as we all know the early teen years are full of emotions and curiosity and sleeping together/cuddling could very well lead two young unsupervised girls to ‘explore.’
