Answer posted by KBDB 3+ months ago: Doesn't sound like lactose, then milk would be the worst. Butter has very little lactose. The yellow cheeses have very little lactose and whey based ones like ricotta also not. Could it be the fat itself that upsets your stomach? Is the butter real butter (just cream and salt as ingredients)? ...
